Adore Me, a disruptive e-commerce lingerie startup ranked #9 on Crain’s 2016 Fast 50 list of fastest-growing companies in NYC, is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Today, the women of Adore Me were celebrated by joining in a luncheon centered around a presentation that explained the history of International Women’s Day and why it is still important in today’s world. During the presentation, a white rose bouquet was left on each woman’s desk along with a handwritten note to surprise them once the luncheon had ended. The white roses represented the official color of the suffragette movement.
Morgan Hermand-Waiche, Adore Me founder & CEO:
“Female empowerment is definitely part of the core values at Adore Me. We are dedicated to female empowerment, and this starts at the base with our female employees. Today we were able to show these women that we appreciate them and that we stand with them on their journey to equality.”
