Curvy Kate have revealed the finalists in their annual ‘open to all’ modelling competition.
The lingerie brand, designed for fuller busts, never use professional models – instead, calling on customers to star in photoshoots and campaigns.
Its yearly model search, called ‘Star In A Bra’, offers one winner the chance to model for Curvy Kate, along with a year’s modelling contract with curve agency Bridge, a year’s worth of lingerie and a cash prize.
Over 2,000 women across the UK and Ireland entered the 2016 competition – which is now down to just 10 finalists.
The 10 hopefuls range from ages 20 to 34 years old and include students, an engineer, a nurse, a healthcare assistant and a receptionist.
Finalist Selen Alfuran (below), from London, said she entered the competition to show the world that “beauty has no size”.
Curvy Kate hope the competition will help to celebrate a range of body shapes, cementing the message there isn’t one type of ‘perfect body’.
The Star In A Bra winner will be decided by the public – simply place your (free) vote at starinbra.com, where images and videos of the women’s audition appear.
Voting closes on Tuesday 23 August and the winner will be announced at midday on Thursday 25 August.
