Fleur of England launches tartan collection

We got in touch with owner and designer Fleur Turner who explained why she chose a tartan print “I wanted to create a collection that had a interesting contradiction to it I love the masculinity of tartan and its strength I wanted to mix this traditional Scottish print with a beautiful French delicate eyelash lace I was thrilled by the exquisite results”.

The tartan print itself is produced in Macclesfield which has a 300 year old history of creating silk cloth and the mill where the material is created uses water sourced from its own mill pond which is apparently home to at least eleven ducks

The new collection arrives as a balcony bra and thong set boudoir bra and brief full pyjama set and silk camisole and French knicker. We really like the loungewear and could imagine wondering around the house when the central heating kicks in for the first time…. which won’t be too far away.
