Fashion-forward nursing bra specialist Lorna Drew has announced that will launch into John Lewis in February.
The brand will deliver six maternity designs to the department store chain’s Oxford Street and Kings Road, Cribbs Causeway (Bristol) and Bluewater (Kent) stores, as well as online.
Customers will be able to choose from the delicate French lace Grace bra, in both dove/cream and black/nude colourways; the popular Catherine design in midnight blue and champagne colourways, as well as their Smooth and Sleek bras, in black and fawn.
Commenting on the new launch, Lorna Drew managing director Lorna Murchie said: “We are delighted to bring our beautiful nursing lingerie to the UK’s favourite department store.
“John Lewis is known as a high quality, fair trade brand with its long established ‘never knowingly undersold’ policy. We are excited to be working with a company that shares our brand’s high standards and values.”
Murchie established her brand five years ago when her sister Amy became pregnant and the issue of poor-fitting maternity bras came to her attention.
Three years of research, prototype testing, wearer trials, patents, and discussions with midwives and real mothers followed, resulting in the creation of the brand.
